T-Mobile recently announcFirst opinion on the HTC Amaze 4Ged the release of two new double core Android smart phones to work with its HSPA+41 network.

These include the HTC Amaze 4G and the Samsung Galaxy S II. Most of us are aware of the Galaxy S II due to its launch at New York and we have additionally appraised an unlocked phone. The HTC phone was unknown to most of us.

Luckily, we got an opportunity to work with this phone at an occasion. We found that the handset was not really new as proclaimed by T-Mobile. The Amaze bears a close resemblance to the Sensation 4G phone from HTC. The fact that this handset received the CNET Editor Choice award, it was not a bad point to begin.

Specification and features

We shall begin with the specifications. Similar to the HTC Sensation4G, this 4G phone is provided with a 4.3inches qHDSuperLCD display with a touch screen. The phone provides clarity, brightness, and appears attractive, which makes it excellent. However, when you compare it with the Samsung Galaxy SII smart phones, it loses its charm nonetheless, the display is attractive even when compared to other handsets.

The Amaze 4G uses Android Gingerbread version 2.3.4, which although not the latest version (the latest being Android version 2.3.5) is quite fast and new. The primary feature of the HTC is its speed, which make the phones quicker is 1.5 double core Qualcomm SnapdragonS3 processor. This is an updated version of the 1.2 gigahertz processor that is used by the Sensation 4G.
The next feature is the T-Mobile’s take on speed. The company officials requested that we do not open any online pages or conduct speed testing on these phones. This indicated that either the company was unsure about the connectivity in the location or this HSPA+42 system may still be unprepared for this feature. Nonetheless, using this network, both the phones, Amaze and Galaxy SII can theoretically offer a speed of 42 Mbps. This is the fastest implementation provided by T-Mobile HSPA+42 network that is maximized at 14.4 Mbps. Commonly, the speeds available in San Francisco is miniscule in comparison to the theoretical limit.

The Designing

The appearance of the Amaze a resemblance to the Sensation 4G. The dimension and the shape seem very alike that is flat with a slight recessed front and a small curve in the rear. However, the rear patterns are dissimilar, with metal panel abutting the soft component. In addition, the buttons, fittings, and finishing materials are provided with their own appearance.
The phone is available in two colored version, which include white and black. Both color handsets will be marketed simultaneously.

The Features

As common with the HTC Android smart phones, the Amaze 4G is preloaded with the HTC Sense 3.0 that is the latest version. The application continues to be appealing, enjoyable, and simple to use. Moreover, it is categorized amongst our most favorite manufacturing company customized features. Although, the skins may adopt a slower updated cycle, the Sense provides adequate functionalities to ensure that users can enjoy with it.
