Samsung Galaxy Tab release has been entirely a new experiment by the company. The main intention behind launch of this tablet was to grab a major portion of market share from iPad.

According to the company, it’s new design tab has been giving tough competition to iPad. The company tried to make it’s first ever version of Galaxy tab mare lucrative for the tablet users. It has got a massive 7 inch screen and made it compatible for every carrier. Unfortunately, the company failed to put up tough competition to iPad. Its high price and carrier commitments are said to be some of the reasons. Though it included a massive screen, it was not as big as iPad’s screen.

Now, the company is again all set to roll down its latest version tablet in the form of Galaxy Tab 2. This new version tab is also expected to have same 7 inch screen and, obviously, Android based. It will be compatible to 3G services. What keeps the users most excited about is its pricing. The company has not yet made any formal announcement in this regard. However, it is speculated that it would be around $500.

The company announced that the new tab will be in UK markets by March. There has been no news about it’s release date in US. Now coming to the features, the new version tab of Samsung will be featuring a 1GHz processor and 1GB Ram. As expected, it will have a high end 1024 X 600 pixel LCD display screen. It will be available in different variations of internal storage capacity such as 32GB, 16GB and 8GB.

The new tab features two cameras, front and rear, inbuilt Bluetooth and GPS are some of the other features that come with it. However, it seems that the new version is not much advanced than the earlier version. Other than 3G compatibility and Android 4.0, rest all features were included in its earlier version.

The company had announced its plans for release of Galaxy 7.7 also. This version is also expected to come with 1.4GHz processor, 1280 X 800 pixels Amoled display and 4G compatibility.
