About 50% of Apple iPhone users living in the USA are "very interested" in changing the service provider for Verizon Wireless instead of AT&T Inc in accordance with the research conducted by professional company. The director of the Deloitte company Ed Morgan expressed the opinion that it would be noticed a range of defections in iPhone with different carrier. The Chief Executive of the AT&TS Randall Stephenson said about the possible influence of the fact that iPhone is losing its touch of exclusivity. Randall Stephenson mentioned about 80 % of AT&T's iPhone owners must have been busy as they did not refuse from the service or the phone was given to them at work. The study made by the Deloitte company discovered as well that 55 % of people who took part in the poll said that they did not want to buy the iPad digital tablet. Deloitte discovered also that people those who currently own iPad or other mobile devices use them in a different way. About 41 % of people make use of a smartphone instead of laptop being out. 15 % continue to do the same thing when they are in. Among young people 27 - 31 % employ smartphones, other devices for playing games. They spend not so much time on consoles games on PlayStation or Nintendo. Among the most widespread downloads are social networking applications and game applications. Smartphones and mobile devices are used for that. This survey was conducted online, in summer and about 2,000 U.S. respondents of different ages (14-75 y.o.) took part in it. |
