Tuesday, 30 November 2010 23:00

After several days of DoS atWikileaks moved to Amazon serverstacks Wikileaks moved to Amazon servers. The organization made public over 250,000 diplomatic cables of the USA and they were published in a range of newspapers in different languages.

During 12 hours Wikileaks changed the hosting twice. The hacker “The Jester” is responsible for this DoS attacks trying to prevent the publication of material, which in his opinion threatened lives of American troops and international relations. This hacker was noticed earlier in attacks against Islamic web resources.

Amazon did not comment upon the Wikileaks change of hosting.

Wikileaks was criticized before for publishing military documents which refer to wars in Afghanistan and Iraq and many of them disrupted the reputation of the United Stated on the world arena.

Release of diplomatic documents was also criticized by Hilary Clinton who expressed her anxiety concerning the national security.  The information is considered potentially damaging, which reveals the inner policy of the USA in the unfavorable way.

China in its turn also blocked access to Wikileaks as it disclosed some facts of China’s hack of Google computer systems. Politically sensitive material is often banned in China. Such resources as YouTube, Facebook and Twitter are not available in China.
