Boost of e-commerce sales

Internet researcher comScore informed on Sunday that online consumers from the United States spent $648 million on Black Friday alone.

Black Friday is the day that goes after Thanksgiving, therefore this is the official start to the profitable holiday shopping. 9% rise is noticed this year in comparison with the same holiday a year ago, while comStore predicted 11% increase.

All are aware of the crazy activity on this day in the brick-and-mortar shops, but what goes on in the Internet is not so evident for us.

People prefer more and more to shop online to avoid the bustle of everyday life and contributes to bigger e-commerce popularity. Online sales were known upon the whole as a low buying activity but everything changes.

What web resources did online visitors buy at? Online shoppers purchased at Amazon.com which there was a 25% rise of users on Black Friday.

In fact, Amazon.com and 3 other sites – Target, Walmart and BestBuy – they all had over 4 million unique visitors on Black Friday.

Then followed cyber Monday, which saw an increase in sales not known before. According to estimations of experts from IBM this year experienced 15.9 % online sales increase. The purchases are made from mobile devices as well. For instance, 5.6% of shoppers had access to the site of the retailed from mobile device.
