Zynga is worth $10 billion |

Zynga, the company producing social games such as Mafia Wars and FarmVille, which are popular globally, is worth $10 billion. Tons of money went on raining down upon Silicon Valley as the producer of social games Zynga finishing a $500 million fund raising round and this fact raised the value of the company to different level as it reached approximately 10 billion dollars. There were reports in The New York Times and the Wall Street Journal too, commenting upon the event and expressing the view that it would be raised up to the mark of 250 million dollars while the general value of the company from 7 to 9 billion dollars.
Zynga was valued highly mainly thanks to the connection with social network Facebook where the games produced by the company were developed as hits. Among the most widespread ones you will see Farmville, MafiaWars and CityVille. These games could be installed without fee for it, but the clients spent money as the acquired different item needed for the game. For instance, digital seeds are needed in FarmVille. They say that Zynga was especially successful in it and managed to earn about 400 million dollars in the course of 2010. The number of users reached 275 million people. |
