Microsoft to release System Center 2012

Microsoft announced recemicrosoftntly its plan to release the System Center 2012 in the first half of the year. The launching is aimed in time for the Microsoft Management Summit on April this year that will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada.

This System Center will be offered in two editions namely, Datacenter and Standard. It was also announced that both editions include full set of System Center server management capabilities. They only differ in virtualization rights.

This System Center 2012 has integrated and automated management capabilities that can be a trusted service provider for business. It has the knowledge on policies, systems, best practices and processes so that the user can optimize its infrastructure and be able to save cost, enhance service delivery and improve application availability. It further enables self-service and automation and is flexible.

System Center 2012 with its cloud and datacenter management solutions empowers the user with only common management toolsets for a private and public cloud applications and services. Further, this is a comprehensive solution to manage today’s increasing virtual datacenters. Also, it is a solution to the fast developing private and public cloud environments.

Moreover, with this new System Center, Application becomes a service which is a deployed instance of a cloud style application along with its associated configuration and virtual infrastructure. It helps the user manage the full application life cycle, from provisioning services to operating them. Indeed, this System Center offers unique capabilities that can empower application to deliver agile and predictable services to the user’s business partners.

 

Meanwhile, with its Standardized Application Provisioning, it uses service templates as a tool to define blueprints for standardized application for a private cloud environment. Also, it can specify configuration  of application like topology, rules for scale-outs and upgrades, elasticity including health thresholds. It further offers support for multiple package types of Microsoft.NET applications.

Further, with its Deep Applications Diagnostics Insights, it offers deep application and transaction monitoring insight for .NET applications and others. Also, it offers easy to use reporting and custom dash-boarding. It can easily and efficiently eradicates the root causes of bad application performance. Indeed, with the advent of this System Center 2012, the user can automate core organizational processes like change management and release management.
