Google will make the Groupon clone
Monday, 31 January 2011 11:03

Google's "outreach specialistgoogle_logos" will contact businesses in the United States for promotion purpose.

Google failed to buy Groupon though tried hard but did not give up an idea. Not it will make the site of local deals instead of it. There will be offers of coupons there using Groupon scheme employing the partnership with retail businesses providing the opportunity to buy products at discounted prices. The plans are carried out without delay.

Google published a recruitment letter of search for an “outreach specialist” for work at Google Places in Oregon. It is said in the letter about the responsibility to work with local businesses and informing them about Google services.
A lot of people will be hired for the company.  Bloomberg reports about 6,000 new employees to be recruited this year. This is going to be a record as far as recruitment is concerned.

Groupon says that there are people working for the site all over the country. It seems that Google wants to copy the same concept and start working with vendors in the same way. This way Google wants to look more appealing in addition to Hotspot and Places. It is logical to suppose that there will be offers for client in the inbox in the nearest future.
