The broker of this deal was Sedo, a domain marketplace operator. This operator brokered previously the sale of the domain name Pizza.com which was estimated $400 million and Russia.com as well. It’s evident that the word “sex” is a popular word. In spite of the fact that this is a big buzz word and can bring much money, you will be astonished to discover that three months passed after the acquisition, but the website now serves as a single parked page, which is full of links. It is not clear yet if the owner is going to earn on it at least return his $13 million back. It is understandable that it is impossible to make money this way and the website requires actual development. Perhaps, but the owner of the domain is not in business any longer.
