Google enhanced Google Docs even more with supplementary functional features that added comment system.

So there is going to be a conversational feel about the work over documents together with other people in this application. The ability to tag people in comments appeared and answer them using @-symbol. If you are commented in Google Docs you will get a notification by mail.  Therefore there is no necessity to check the document for that.  As you receive this notification you are provided with opportunity to respond by mail or clicking on the link that will give you an access to the document.

Let us imagine the situation when you have many users therefore notifications keep coming and disturb you. In such case there was another option included. You can make the notifications mute and you will see updates only when you enter the document.

When the commentary is sorted out it is marked. The status “resolved” will remove the comment from the thread. With the help of this feature the document will not be cluttered. But removal from the thread does not mean that it is not available any longer. You can open old comments via an archive.
It is also important to point out that these new features will be available when you work on newly made documents.
